Louis Bray

Louis started his career as a competitive swimmer, but growing up in Busselton he was inspired by the challenge of Ironman.  Before long he signed up for his first, and became one of the youngest competitors to race Ironman WA at the age of 18 alongside his Dad.

What are some of your results and racing highlights so far?

Winning the 20-24AG in the SunSmart 2017 series , third in the 18-24 AG and fastest overall AG swim in 2017 Ironman 70.3 Busselton.

What race destination would you love to go to?

Kona is the dream! But I’m excited for the next race on the list in cairns

What does a regular day look like for you?

I usually train early in the morning before heading off to work as a plumber.  After work I’m straight back into another training session before a healthy dinner.

What keeps you motivated?

I just feel like there is more I can achieve and I’m excited to find out what that could be.

What is your favourite session?

Wednesday speed run! Running is my weakest leg, so the more I train my run the harder it will be to catch me.

What is your recovery routine?

2 scoops of chocolate pea protein and teaspoon of super greens as a shake within 20 mins after every session.

Describe yourself in 5 words?

Determined to be my best!

Why do you like to use Bindi in your training?

I use Bindi because I know it’s good for what I do and good for me.  I believe it works.
